Weekend! Tomorrow we’ll go to the Betteld conference in Zelhem in the Achterhoek (‘the backcorner’) in the East of The Netherlands. We hope to meet some old friends and make new ones. I am looking forward to having a relaxed time. We’ll stay with our friends Addy and Rhodé (she’s also a far cousin of mine). That’ll be fun.
We got a letter of Gerrit Kwantes of Agapè. He is going forward with his idea of coaching and mentoring, so in 2 weeks we’ll meet at his place to discuss this further. I am curious what it is going to bring.
And then we’re still praying and looking for answers on the things I wrote about a couple of days ago. There are some big pitfalls, like staying in bed too long, that prevent us from really taking the time to seek the Lord. So you know what to pray for 
More news from church is that our good friend and elder in church is probably retiring from his job later this year quite unexpectedly. That means he’ll have lots of time to do other things, also for the congregation. I am sure the people need it!
