Ascension Day in Drenthe

We were invited to join the annual leadership conference from our church, which always takes place at the Ascension-weekend. Because we had planned a couple of other things this weekend, I went only for one day. The event took place in Drenthe, so on Wednesday I drove to Drenthe after work. It took me about 2,5 hours from Renswoude to Een… The program on Thursday was geared more towards fellowship than to teaching, so there was a lot of time to relax. It was very good to get to know the people from church a little bit better. Mark van Oostrum and I enjoyed the local forest and Líeko’s salmon salad and had a couple of good discussions.
