For the Romania trip, we take Ron and Marie-Anne’s roofcase. We needed the right roofrails for our car, but those are quite expensive. I did some calls to different shops, but they were all far away and expensive. Through marktplaats.nl (‘marketplace.nl’) I found a second-hand, original Ford set – that was delivered this same afternoon here in Ouddorp… God is good ?
In the afternoon, we went to the beach. As you can see, it was kind of a stupid idea, since it was very cloudy and even raining for a while. But it cleared up a little bit, and we had a good time together.
After a while some other families joined us. They were all very orthodox reformed people, the women wearing skirts and dresses, lots of children and so on. It was almost a cultural experience, being used to life in the big city, where this kind of people is very rare.
