Katrina chaos

We visited New Orleans in 2001 with a YWAM team. Were there right after 9/11 – a strange time back then, but nothing compared to what it looks like now.
Today I heard that the YWAM-base in N.O. and its properties, including several housing projects, all got lost. The director’s couple lost everything, don’t have a dime on them and cannot access a bank.
I also happened to cross this Live Journal – what a mess it is over there. Can hardly believe this is America in 2005.
Pray for the YWAM couple and all the other victims of this tragedy.
