Katrina chaos

We visited New Orleans in 2001 with a YWAM team. Were there right after 9/11 – a strange time back then, but nothing compared to what it looks like now.
Today I heard that the YWAM-base in N.O. and its properties, including several housing projects, all got lost. The director’s couple lost everything, don’t have a dime on them and cannot access a bank.
I also happened to cross this Live Journal – what a mess it is over there. Can hardly believe this is America in 2005.
Pray for the YWAM couple and all the other victims of this tragedy.

  1. Hurricane Katrina blows newspapers online
In Hurricane Katrina’s aftermath, the city’s daily Times-Picayune was unable to print or deliver newspapers so resorted to distributing PDF editions on the paper’s website using backup power generators.
I have a bridal gift inexpensive shower site. It pretty much covers bridal gift inexpensive shower related cards and gifts.
